Crossover weekend is when your Cub Scout officially becomes part of the Boy Scouts and the troop.  It's a fun and exciting experience for you and your scout!

The weekend has two parts - the Crossover Ceremony at Burnside Bridge in Antietam Battleground and then the 1-night campout at Camp Melrose, the troop's scouthouse located just outside Sharpsburg.  Both parts are very important.  The ceremony officially makes your scout a member of the troop.  The campout lets your scout get to know his fellow troop members and also gives him the opportunity to earn his Scout rank.
